The lair of a large, fantastical, cave dwelling creature obsessed with chairs; desperately searching for the perfect representation of what a chair is in its image.
The assignment was to create a 3D environment (blockout) that guides the player to a specific point in the scene, using principles of composition and cinematography. The cave is meant to lead the player to the being’s most prized chair and to give the player a sense of mystery, chaos and wariness (“Who or what put all these chairs here? And Why?”) as well as to foreshadow characteristics of an upcoming boss fight. This was made using Unity and post processing.
